I’m looking for info on White Town and Black town in Calcutta. My great grandfather and grandmother lived in white town. They lived near the business district of Chowringhee, but had connections with the Black Town, mainly Indian and close to North Calcutta. That’s all I know. If you can provide more info that would be great.
What kind of information are you looking at?
Let me know as I’ve grown up in the grey areas which falls directly in between the white and black towns.
