…walked around Dalhousie with us on the 19th. It was a lovely morning, crisp and cool. Explorer Sue found it a bit chilly for her liking and kept her jacket on, but then, she grew up in South India!
The two Annes were most enthusiastic about the flora they encountered on the walk, and also the history of the area. Sara proved her taste for adventure by being the only person to make it all the way up to the clock-tower… Her husband Debashis went with her but refused the last steep ladder. (And we don’t blame him!)
Ifte and Manjit conducted the walk (with the occasional input from Sue-who-couldn’t-keep-her-mouth-shut-if-her-life-depended-on-it).
It was a fun walk, and we would like to congratulate the newly-weds and wish them all the best for their Hindu wedding in Siliguri as also for the wonderful life they are stepping into.
